North Antrim Cliff Path

Unfurling the rope-bridge

The annual assembly of the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge is the achievement of a dedicated team, who choose the day for the task very carefully - calm maritime conditions, coupled with an absence of wind (- a rarity in these parts! - ) and the availability of the back-up team of carriers ensures a smooth operation with a successful out-come for local tourism, set up for a season of visitors throughout the summer.
